Description: Measures 18" x 11" x 7.5" tall with the lid on & not counting the handles in the length. 1909-40 Savory Graniteware Farmhouse Roaster Pan Enamel Double Wall Collectible Savory with its smooth shoulders, high domed lid and double-wall construction is considered ‘The Grand Dame’ of all roaster pans and has been helping cooks serve up tender, juicy turkey and holiday hams since 1909 – 1940s. These Roasters are now highly collectible for country kitchen décor, as well as everyday use. Designed and patented by Joseph Mathy, the pan was produced by the Republic Metalware Company of Buffalo New York using enamel over steel. Millions were sold, but it is hard these days to find one in good usable condition. Several sizes of this roaster were made, but this one is considered large and measures 18” L x 11” W x 7 3/4” high. It is a black specked enamel with the SAVORY name embossed on one side of the pan.
