It can be hung up on a wall or used as a self standing unit on a shelf top or any flat surface. The Off Whitish Plastic container has a solid pattern and contemporary style suitable for indoors to use in any room or bathroom. It is designed to hold the Airwick Aerosol spray refills but I know this old versions work with the glade refills 6.2 oz as well (I do not suggest or recommend you do that). You will need to insert 2 AA batteries to make this unit function. It has 3 customizable spray settings (along the OFF setting) to achieve your preferred fragrance level. Per manufacturer: Ensure it is at least 6 feet from the floor level and not pointed towards your face. The aerosol refill will require changing when the fragrance is no longer emitted.
