Description: Absolutely stunning original 1920s 30s era Art deco champagne pink swirling glass chandelier. The chandelier has been updated with new wiring and sockets and works beautifully. The original finish on the brass components & chain have been cleaned and polished to bring back a beautiful luster yet keep its original patina that took a century to acquire. The gorgeous glass shade is very large measuring approximately 16 1/4” Diameter. The bottom portion of the shade is a frosted champagne pink accented with some clear glass cleats within the swirling design as well, the upper rim of the shade is a white frosted outer finish with some clear glass top rim accenting. The glass points have some typical chipping scattered on some of the points and a shale chip on the top rim of the shade as well, the bottom of the shade has some ware spots from use and storage ( please see all photos for references) . All metal components have the expected normal patina of brass this age. Overall this chandelier is a piece of functional art that has survived a century and brought back to life to be adorned for decades more to come, a sure head turner and worthy of the most demanding restorations where authenticity is a must.
