Description: Up for sale an Antique,Sterling Silver, Double Albert, Pocket Watch Chain with a Enameled Sterling Silver Fob from England/ Birmingham/1899. The chain has the most beautiful shape, thin at both ends and thick in the middle, hallmarked with a "lion passant" for sterling silver on each link.The clasps are hallmarked "HH&S" into an oblong rectangle for silversmith Henry Hobson & Sons/ Birmingham/1899. The T bar is hallmarked, but the inscription is quite worn and illegible.The fob is in the form of a Victorian Dorset town coat of arms, the cartouche is enamelled, the reverse is marked: "V & S" in rectangle for Vaughton & Sons silversmith/ "anchor" for Birmingham/ "lion passant" for sterling silver / "F" for 1930. See dimensions and the condition from the photos, they are an integral part of the description. It is in mint condition with normal signs of use for its age.
