Description: This beautiful antique mirror has its original sticker on the back. From Chittenden & Eastman Company in Burlington, Iowa, it's SQUARE DEAL brand. The company began in 1866 as a mattress manufacturer, so this particular mirror may not have been an item for sale but rather a mirror hung in the mattress showroom. In pencil it is marked A120 or 9120. It measures 20" across x 64" around and is approximately 1/2" thick. There are six decorative screws and nuts holding the mirror to the solid wood backing. The edges are heavily scalloped or pie-crusted and it has the original wire hanger. There is a dainty, etched floral design on all three panels. I don't see any obvious chips and no cracks but there is a small bit of roughness near the bottom on the backside. It's heavy and weighs just under 9 pounds. All patina is original; please clean to your standards. Free insured shipping to the lower 48 states only, but due to the fragility of an old mirror, no returns please.
