The Karl Head mold was introduced in 2014 with the platinum label Karl Lagerfeld Barbie. It replaced the Bob Mackie Face, which was mainly used for Barbie Collector Dolls since the 1990s. It's a rarer and highly-sought after mold used mostley in platinum lines, so when Looks Doll #15 with Brunette Ponytail released, collectors became ecstatic. The doll is Made to move Model in high quality Polyvinyl Chloride Plastic (PVC) commonly used in automotive and high end engineering applications. Properties include high hardness, and outstanding tensile strength, unlike lower grade plastic and Vinyl PVC is resistant to dye leaching from outfits. PVC begins to break down at 220 degrees Fahrenheit , and melts at 500 degrees Fahrenheit. Doll cannot stand alone, doll stand included. b. Positives:The Doll very closely resembles Italian - American singer Arianna Grande (see final Images) with Sicilian olive skin tone, Dark highlighted hair style, and makeup. She is wearing a Conservative yet sexy one strap dress with bold colors that strikes the right balance. Her hair is full length and thick the number of highlights is balanced by her dark hair. Her face angles are symmetrical, her eyebrows are the perfect shape, her makeup is Conservative and classy. Her nose is prominent and Hispanic. Her joints are very tight, and like the and ankles are articulated to accommodate a wider variety of footwear. Her hair is incredibly soft, well-rooted, and thick. I highly recommend this doll for anyone searching for a realistic contemporary Greco-Roman beauty. Also, buyers interested in modeling, posing, and photo shooting; I highly recommend. She is incredibly stunning current stock images do not do the doll justice. ii. Down sides:The doll has no Jewelry, and I would have liked to have seen one other outfit.
