Description: Dell Latitude 5179 2-in-1Windows tablet - laptop convertible This was purchased new in 2016 from authorized reseller and used in a professional practice. It has been tested, cleaned and reset for new owner. It is in very good condition overall with all features tested working. It comes equipped and loaded as shown and is ready to use upon delivery. This is a great system for rugged use out in the field. The original 256GB SATA drive was removed and replaced with a faster 256GB Samsung NVMe PCIe solid state drive with thermal cooling pad. It comes with a Dell 45-watt AC power adapter which has a USB device charging port. It also comes with a Targus 3D Protection Rugged Case made specifically for the Latitude 5179. In addition to the main system drive, an additional storage drive is included. A 256GB PNY Elite-X is installed in the microSD card slot and contains a collection of ebooks, photos, music and videos. The music is a selection of epic cinematic instrumental post-rock in FLAC format which is playable by the native Windows Media Player. The 10.8-inch display is pen & touch capable with built-in Wacom digitizer and Corning Concore Glass. It has a few scratches, but it does not have the keyboard rash that is typical on this model. An anti-glare matte screen protector is installed to prevent further scratches and to provide a paper-like feel when drawing with the stylus. The keyboard attaches mechanically and is detachable to use the tablet by itself. Each key on keyboard tested working. Touchpad works with multi-finger gestures which are customizable in Settings. Backlight has 2 levels plus off controlled with F10 key. Windows 10 Pro is up-to-date but there is no official upgrade to Windows 11 available.
