You will find a similar style with a wire only frame. The ones like this one with the wood spears is pretty hard to find. This great looking MCM or RETRO wall clock keeps excellent time. The battery op movement is a made in Japan and runs on one AA battery (not included). There is some minor age related wear to the wood pieces. The wood is a type of formed or plywood material and they are a little loose on the wires so you could remove them if you like the look better without them. Any competent wood worker could also make the wood pieces out of quality hardwood of different species and different shapes. There is very minor patina on the gold colored heavy wire frame. The face has a glass cover that has very minor wear. Sorry about any glare/fingerprints in the pictures. The diameter is about 25". The glass front does open so possibly this had a mechanical movement at one time, but the Japan battery op is time correct for this clock so you be the judge.
