These eggs are raw/uncooked when freeze dried therefore can be used as you would like after rehydration for making your own scrambled eggs and everyday cooking and baking. The eggs are fresh from our free-range chickens on our family farm. Each bag contains 2 cups egg powder. We freeze dry and package the eggs in house. Each dozen eggs is packaged in a resealable PackFresh 7 mil mylar quart bag. Each package is heat sealed above the resealable strip of the bag with an oxygen absorber inside. Stored this way, these freeze-dried eggs have a 25-year storage life. One egg = 2 ½ Tbs of egg powder + 2 ½ Tbs of water 1:1 ratio of egg powder and water mixed can be used to make scrambled eggs and used in any meal recipe and/or baking recipe calling for eggs. Some clumping may occur which is normal, just break up the clumps before mixing with water. Remove oxygen absorber and discard before using eggs. These eggs are great for long term emergency food storage. Each package weighs approximately 4 ounces so they are lightweight and great for camping or travel. Please contact me with any questions.
