Description: This club is made from pure ebony, was hand carved, distressed, and given an oil stain to bring out the deep color. The grain is visible in some spots. As it is a war club, I decided to give it some artificial marks of use to give it more character. There is also one spot near the end where there is a lighter wood, this is from the outer layers of the ebony tree where the wood is not black, this is naturally occuring. I'm not sure exactly what type of ebony it is made from but I guarantee it is real. It measures: 23 in (58 cm) long 4.75 in (12 cm) deep 3 in (7.6 cm)wide at the ball and 1 in (2.5 cm) wide at the handle And weights 24.9 oz (705 grams) I did not give it a clear coat or protective outer layer of any sort but I certainly can if you'd like.
