Description: PRICE REDUCED 11/1/24. Was $95 Very rare volume. The bound 1884 volume of the Stone-Campbell Movement journal The Disciple of Christ. Articles and literary pieces by many of the well-known figures in this movement (see pics of TOC). Many pencil sketches of those figures. The binding is in good condition, but 2 of the front pages have come loose. They are present and intact but not attached. There are a couple of water spots on the front cover (see pic), and there is some shelf wear, as you would expect from a book of this age.
