Size of the painting: 19.8cm x 27.4cm Overall size: 25.6cm x 33.1cm Career of Katsuyuki Nishijima ・Born in Yamaguchi Prefecture in 1945. ・Studied woodblock printing at Miyuki, a print publisher in Kyoto, from 1964 to 1968. ・Exhibited woodblock prints at the Kyoto Independent Exhibition from 1965 to 1970. ・Produced dyed woodblock prints from 1969 to 1972. ・Began full-scale production of original woodblock prints in 1972. ・Actively held solo exhibitions of woodblock prints in Kyoto, Tokyo, Osaka, Sapporo, Sendai, Otsu, Nara, Nagoya, San Francisco, Sydney, and Hong Kong from 1987 onwards.
