Lionel 248 Electric Loco Red, Cream, Brass As Is Prewar O gauge X5489

Description: Early 1930’s enameled metal boxcab electric on 7,5” frame is original red with cream inserts, mostly brass trim. It may need only one replacement wheel, due to fatigue cracking, other 3 look OK, 1 other has minor fatigue to flanges. Tabs that hold body-attach screws are missing from frame and some of the small tabs along bottom edge of cab also missing. Cab sits loose, but this can be fixed with small brackets. It is missing1 brass handrail, otherwise trim looks complete, has original cast headlight, good lettering on inserts. Red cab finish shows moderate wear, mostly edges and roof, light wear on frame. As is, not tested due to the 1 fatigued wheel, no operation warranty. Couplers are also missing. It has potential. All Items, including N.O.S.
