Description: This custom ordered swamp ash Nashville Telecaster body was made for me by Mark Jenny at MJT Custom Guitars. It was sprayed with butterscotch blonde nitro finish from their blackguard color collection. It is a closet classic with checking. I had them model it after a Nacho guitar and they nailed it perfectly. The neck and middle were routed with P90 routs a 1/4 inch deeper than normal to accommodate Charlie Christians, but will comfortably fit standard tele, p90s etc. They hand selected one of the lightest swamp ash bodies they could find, weighing in at 3.10 lbs. It is what they consider "super light" which is an extra upcharge. Typically the rest of the guitar would add 3 lbs so this one should come in under 7. At least that what I was aiming for. I never got to start this project so here it is for a lucky tele player! The inspiration for this build is Ted Greene, Tim Lerch and Julian Lage. And of course, Nacho Banos!!
