Bear in bottom foreground, houses of Samoyodes shown on New Holland. The image has a near folk-art feel, a style unique to this time in history. Utterly unlike anything produced today and of modern aesthetic appeal for this very reason. Sheet measures c. 5" x 8". Printed area measures c. 4 1/2" x 6".
