Paste link into a browser window: [isdntekvideo] This is an extremely rare (200 total published) signed, numbered and personalized book by the very famous (in his day), Dard Hunter. The book is printed on hand- made paper, printed using typeface that was also hand made, and containing samples of the primitive paper as well as illustrations. The book measures 12” by 17’ and is about an inch thick. The book is not bound in the traditional sense, it is more of a portfolio made up of large sheets folded in half. The book was published at the Mountain House Press, which was the home, studio and primitive paper mill constructed by Dard Hunter in Chillicothe Ohio. This is number 138 of 200 total made, and there is a personalized note, handwritten by the author. There is some moisture damage on the front of the binder and a small amount of foxing present.
