The case shell without lids is a medium depth of 16.5 inches, in line with modern amps and shallow enough to use as an effects rack. This rack has Front and Rear Rails with replaceable steel threaded strips for mounting your rack equipment; screws and washers included for your convenience. Butterfly steel twist latches. Stack-able. Good protection for your equipment. Zippered storage area in one lid. NOTE: If you load enough equipment into this rack to require 2 people to move it, the handle design is not as nice as current SKB and Gator ABS racks. It's like the older SKB racks and if you put your hand in the handle palm down, the top of your hand will tend to press into the top of the handle assembly and cause significant Pain!
