Description: I recently purchased a whole lot of this terrific vintage softcover. This is a brand new / NOS (new old stock) softcover book CARTOONING IN THE USA by artist Roy Wilson. This new book is a first printing and was published in 1974. This 43 page beautifully illustrated book was published by Cheshire Productions, Torrington, CT. This softcover has fully illustrated sections with accompanying super cartoon art; chapters include magazine cartooning, greeting cards, comic strips, advertising, as well as sections on composition, perspective, emotion in cartoons, lettering, advice from the author and much more. The cartoons and illustrations in this book are simply wonderful and fill every page. This softcover is new and is odor-free, clean, crisp, and from a non-smoking home. Page edges are very, very slightly yellowed from age. A must have for any cartoon lover. Thanks for looking.Now for the fine print……..
