Secord Contextual Articulation Tests (S-CAT) for Speech Language Pathologists

Description: The contextual probes of articulation competence described in the S-CAT manual is one of three components of the S-CAT. The S-CAT is a comprehensive assessment and treatment program designed to probe production of all English phonemes in a variety of phonetic and phonologic contexts. It examines performance across different speech production levels and provides more than 30,000 training words keyed to the multiple contexts in which target phonemes can be spoken. The examiners manual contained in section one includes an overview of the entire CPAC component, the design of all phoneme and process, probes, procedures for administering all probes, recording, responses, scoring, and suggestions, describing the many ways CPAC can be used. CPAC contains two types of probes: phoneme probes, and process probes. Section 3 through 5 contain the record forms for all the phoneme and process probes. The pre-test record forms for all phonemes are located in section 3, the post test record forms are in section 4, and the record forms to assess phonological processes are in section 5.The publisher grants permission to duplicate both the phoneme and process record forms. This permission is granted to anyone who individually purchases the CPAC or the larger ASCAP program that includes the CPAC permission for duplication is granted for use within the individuals work setting. This set includes all 3 books. The yellow Storytelling Probes and blue Contextual Probes books are in mint condition. The green Target Words book has been used in therapy and has slight wear on the outside and some writing on some of the pages on the inside.
