Description: Antique set of 6 English dessert or side plates from Doulton Burslem in the hard-to-find Nankin pattern from the 1920s. The Arts & Crafts style of this set feature a unique octagonal shape along with bold cobalt and lime green accents. The blue lies under the glaze with hand painted color on top. The plates are edged in a deep green; the cobalt, French blue and lime green are truly mesmerizing and touches of purple, red and yellow are warm additions. The geometric shape and blue and white Nankin pattern give a nod to Asian style, while the floral theme adds a delicate touch. All 6 pieces are in great antique condition with no chips or cracks and typical gentle wear for their old age. See photos for details. I also have a set of 2 teacups with 2 saucers in this same pattern available in my shop! Dimensions: 5.5” diameter (approx) USPS First Class shipping from Michigan.
