The Stern Portofolio Fotografie was an overly successful line extension of the German Stern magazine between 1996 and 2014. Each issue was limited to 10.000 copies and focussed on one world-famous photographer. This volume (No. 64 of 75) is all about Bruce Gilden. His original signature in this large, almost oversized book comes from Paris, France, where I met him in-person at the art fair "Paris Photo" in 2022. The book is in new and unused/unread condition. However, it may show minor signs of handling, storage and/or age. It comes from a pet-free/smoke-free environment. Just like this signature, I obtain all autographs face-to-face (“in person“). I started collecting signed items back in 1985 and only decided to give some of them away several years ago.
