This book is in SUPERB condition and the book itself has slight dings on the upper spine tip and three of the opening tips and a tiny publisher's stamp on the upper right tip of the blank first page but NO other significant flaws; the dustjacket has a clipped lower corner of the front inner flap, a couple of slight creases on the lower edge of the front cover, a slight ding on the upper spine tip and just slight shelfwear otherwise but no other significant imperfections! The book is titled The Bridge on the Drina (Na Drini Cuprija) and it was written by IVO ANDRIC and translated from the Serbo-Croat by LOVETT F. EDWARDS; it was published by George Allen & Unwin, Ltd. in London in 1973 and is a 4th Impression copy.The Bridge on the Drina is a vivid depiction of the suffering history has imposed upon the people of Bosnia from the late 16th century to the beginning of World War I.
