Description: These helmet liners have been in our family since WW-II. Ten members of our family (fathers side) have served in the military from 1940 to 1987. My father (Cpl. 505-PIR Paratrooper, 82nd Airborne Division) and his 3 older brothers served in WW-II. I don't know for sure which brother owned the helmet liners. Oldest brother (Staff Sgt. Army) received a Battle Field promotion to 2nd Lt. (It was likely him who sent home helmet liners)3rd oldest brother, Tech Sgt. Gunner/Engineer on B-17 Bomber,Army Air Corp. Flew 30 missions during WW-II.2nd oldest, Sgt. Marine Corps. served 29 months in the Pacific. There were 4 boys in our family, we played Army,in our back yard and had fox holes in it from 1957 to 1963 or so. I'm guessing we (or my father) painted the outside of the liners to give them an authentic steel pot look while playing Army. The helmet liners seem identical to me, except for one of the the head bands. The photos pretty much say it all on their condition. There is a front view, a rear view, and an inside view. The price is for both helmet liners. $75.00 for each helmet liner.
