Description: Oh glorious Cashin color! Bonnie Cashin was such a modern designer - her decades-old coats still look completely progressive. We have always considered her the most intellectual of all the designers, demanding functionality in everything from an evening dress to coats that can be managed with one hand. But what always wins us over is her stunning use of color. Not Pucci color, Cashin color. Inspired by nature, her greens are reminiscent of spring's gingkos. A chartreuse leather coat that comes right below the knee with enough pockets to eliminate the need for a purse, maybe she was the ultra-American Carine Roitfeld. Signature turnlock closures along the placket, this has deep patch pockets on the chest with side-entry pockets below that. Lined in avocado silk crepe, it was made for Sills and also bears a Saks Fifth Avenue label. Bust up to 40", shoulder to shoulder 16", outer sleeve 23" and total length 38.5". Excellent condition with the exception of someone's faded initials on the lining by the Saks tag. Full disclosure - no surprises with me. If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to let me know.
