Since this fabric is crushed velvet it can be and has been machine washed through the years. Use a delicate detergent, wash in cold water only, then tumble dry in the dryer. There will be no shrinkage from the dryer. This fabric has been cleaned and laundered, ready for use. Condition: great vintage estate find, one owner who used it 50+ years as her bedcover. There are no spots, stains, rips, tears and no odors. The home was immaculately clean, no pets and no smoking. Please ask questions before bidding or buying.
