Description: ๐บ Vintage 1987 THEWALT Berlin West Germany Lidded Beer Stein 750 Jahre (years) Handarbeit #1370 750th Year Anniversary Berlin Stein -1237-1987. Lubars, the oldest village of the districts in northern Berlin, became 750 years old in 1987 and this THEWALT German Stein commemorates that historic event. I am not a stein expert or a Germany expert, so please so your own research and verify any information. On the left side of the stein is Brandenburg Gate, the only remaining town gate of Berlin, Germany. It has served as a symbol of both the division of Germany and the countryโs reunification and is one of Berlinโs most-visited landmarks. On the right side of the stein is the ruin of the imperial church, not rebuilt as a reminder of World War II. The handle had intertwined vines and the top is pewter with three levels and bands of relief motifs culminating in a cone. The thumb lift is an open work symmetrically decreasing interlocking curly-cues. This stein numbers 1370 in the stein series. In Excellent condition with markings and numbers on the bottom.
