Description: Fabulous 1940s black corduroy slippers with white fold down cuffs accented with metallic gold piping as pictured. These slippers were designed and produced by Pauline Pauling of Southern California and sold through Saks, Neiman Marcus, I Magnin and other high end department stores of the era under the Paddies name. The black and white picture is Pauline Pauling herself posing for a Paddies promotional photograph in the 1940s. These slippers can be worn with the cuffs folded up or down as pictured. These are new without tags and unworn. Flat slippers with padded insole and black vinyl outer soles as pictured. Lined with white corduroy which fold down into a cuff as pictured. LABEL: "Lady Pauline by Paddies Inc" "Venice California" on the outer sole as pictured. CONDITION: Excellent - These are new and unworn with no issues at all. These are sturdy, structurally sound, and ready to wear.MEASUREMENTS / SIZING: Marked a size S / 5-6 on the bottom soles as pictured. SIZING: Based on the measurements below, I'd say these would best fit a modern size 6-1/2.
