Description: This auction find listing is for a vintage (could be an antique) Eagle Pencil Company Mechanical Pencil. It appears to be a "Simplex Sr." pencil, but we can't read the stamped information on the wood portion. It does have lead in it, works like it is supposed to, and has been used. The wood portion is painted with a swirl type design of red and cream. If the wood barrel is just screw-started, then the pencil measures approximately 5-3/4" long. The metal portion of the pencil appears to be in excellent condition with no rust or other foreign material observed, and the clip is solid and intact. The eraser has been used. Very nice-looking old pencil.We do not detail clean our items, only wipe down and dust for photo-taking purposes.
