Description: Vintage Lightolier Melon Effect heavy glass lamps 1940s-50s I attribute them to Lightolier because I've found outdoor sconces and light fixtures with the same glass in an old catalog of theirs online. They were described as "melon effect fire polished glass". As found. Both in working condition. Signs of age and use. Oxidation and rust on metal parts. One has some silvery whitish powder like substance on interior of glass. No damage to glass. The harps were stuck and unable to be removed, not sure if they are clamped in. One cord is thinner and may be original and older than the other cord which is thicker, although the plug is larger and I think newer because of the sticker label on it seems newer. Bases have some dings and dents. See photos and ask questions. Dimensions: 18 1/2" to top of harps, One is 19 5/8" to top of finial, the other is 19 7/8", I'm not sure why, but the harps aren't perfectly vertical on both, maybe that's why.
