This necklace is in excellent vintage condition except for the gold ball as part of the clasp mechanism that is a bit squished as shown. The clasp/closure still works great. I recently picked this up from an estate and it is just gorgeous. You can twist the strands for one look or untwist them for a classic look. The gold clasp is signed but I have been unable to figure out who the manufacturer is. Perhaps you know. I did not clean the pearls as I am afraid to ruin them so I will leave that up to you if you choose to do so. All in all, I think you will be quite pleased with this wonderful necklace.
