Description: Original vintage October 15, 1945 map of the Tokyo Seadrome, the floating airfield for a seaplane, off the coast of Japan. Shows Yokosuka Marine Air Base, Yokohama, and more. Has a notation in pencil by the US Navy seaplane pilot and air combat officer who was there during WWII, flying in and out of the seadrome, and brought it back. About 13" x 8". Good condition with tanning from age, and edge wear and tear as shown. Displays really well. A rare map and an awesome addition to any collection. I ship every day the post office is open with your item safely packed for protection. Please see the Fighting Fascism in WWII section and the rest of my store for more museum-quality historical artifacts. I always combine shipping.
